Naruko am+pm Skincare A+

March 05, 2018

Hey everyone today I bring you a really in deep review from the Naruko am+pm line the pore minimizing complex.

I got a lot of interest from the product because is the one that contains vitamin A aka retinol, tretanoil, etc. and because I suffer from a lot of pigmentation, open pores and tons of blackheads I wanted to give it a try.

As a side note, I would say I have The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2%, and a Retin-a 0.025% Tretinoina/tretinoid cream also to test witch one give me the best results. So wait patiently the post with the comparetion.

First, let me tell you the condition of my skin so you have an idea if the product might work or not to your skin.

I’m 30 years old, with extremely oily skin, only in winter and if is around 8C° to 23C° max, my skin becomes combination, I have dehydration skin, have occasional breakouts from hormones, suffer from open pores around my cheeks, and nose, but have blackheads, on my nose, cheekbones, check, chin and jaw area. Have pigmentation from previous acne scar and sun damage.

So it’s a lot of things in just one face to deal with but it’s nothing major well for me it isn’t.

The Description of the product is:

On the box says, that prevents premature aging, refines enlarged pores, erases the fines lines and help increase the elasticity and resilience of the skin. And on the official website also mentions that balance the facial oil, gives a gentle exfoliation of the dead skin cells, provide hydration and moisture. That’s a lot of benefits for one product.

Direction: apply evenly over face each evening. Use sunscreen during the day. Do not use in conjunction with other products with contains high levels of Salicylic Acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Also on the website that the product has to be use ASAp as it opened because of the natural ingredients and the high concentration of vitamin A.

Experience

Well the product came on a with a pump which is a really nice easy way to apply it, the scent is literally like retinol with that herbal scent combine the color is a light yellow and the texture is a cream but really light not to heavy as for my oily skin.

The tube is a 30 ml and it last a long time, it took me 4 months to finish right now the price is $28. USD.  So it’s not as expensive as some products that contain retinol in the market, the smell is not notorious at the moment of application.

For me, unfortunately, the product didn’t work as I was hopping, as far of my pigmentation didn’t help at all, didn’t cause me any break out, I use it at night and I wasn’t more oily as usual, but it didn’t control my facial oil, I think it would be a good preventing cream, for pore and pigmentation issue, I didn’t have any more pigmentation, no breakout at all, my blackheads, well they are really tough to deal with it, because of the amount of oil my face produces.

So if you start to notice that you are having pigmentation or fine lines I think it could be a good option to use the cream because it’s not as strong as a counter retinol product, but not as expensive as some products that let's say are more aggressive to the skin. As they say, prevention is the most powerful weapon or something like that.
