Holika Holika Skin Ac Mild Toner and Soothing Emulsion for Acne Skin

April 17, 2018

Today I bring a review from 2 Holika Holika products, been a shopaholic I have way too much samples to use, so I made a commitment don’t by anything until I use all the samples I have on stock.

So, for that, I started using the toner and emulsion from the Ac mild line, with is perfect for me since it focuses to people with acne and oily skin, I don’t have a lot of acne but I do have an oily-dehydrated to combination skin.

Each bottle I believe might be 5 to 10 ml each I’m not quite sure, but anyway I just had 4 bottles of tonner and like 7 of the emulsion.

The first product is going to be the Toner (I mean is the first one you apply).

For me it feels light and very runny, it absorbs quickly on the skin and it feels really fresh, doesn’t feel like it provides moisture or hydration I don’t think it would work for normal skin to dry skin that might have acne problems.

With the emulsion it feels like a gel texture, I have to tap quite a lot in my palms to be able to dispense some product, and is not really runny, it glides really slowly, it absorbs fast, and it semi clear in color, it has a musky color.

Conclusion:

For the toner even been alcohol the second ingredient, it doesn’t have a strong smell of it, it didn’t feel dry on my skin, but doesn’t feel that provides enough moisture, is refreshing and about controlling my oils well they are hard to control, but it didn’t make any more oily, I didn’t have any irritation, but I had a little tinny break out on my forehead really close to my hair line they were whiteheads, and maybe because of the change of products my skin react that way, but it wasn’t anything mayor they were super tinny.

The Emulsion because of the consistency it applies well, and a tiny bit lasts a lot I would apply it 2 times morning and night. It didn’t feel heavy, didn’t cause irritation, just the whitehead, but they disappear. It felt fresh it gives moisture but nothing to go wow about it, didn’t have a strong smell at all, did it help with my oily skin? no, it didn’t, with my blackhead no it didn’t at all.

I think the product might work for normal skin that just have occasional acne noting mayor, even having centella asiatica, I would recommend just to use the Toner and emulsion just the time you have a minor breakout, centella asiatica can be drying in high quantities if continuing use even for oily skin so a really good deep moisturizing would work really great.

Do I recommend the product to acne and oily skin No really, if you have a really light hormonal or just some pimple every 3 months it might work, but the product doesn’t really do wonders, there are way better product on the market and for the price is not worth it.
